Freebird One now operating as a separate entity from Freebird Sailing since early 2007. Marco Magarinos is the owner and Managing Director who is well known for his impeccable desire to deliver products of the highest quality coupled with outstanding customer service. Freebird One is a top of the range luxury 3 million Euro catamaran, which is one of it’s kind here in Europe. It was custom built in France for the sole purpose of carrying passengers onto the Atlantic Ocean for enjoying the fantastic sightings of the Whales and Dolphins just off the shoreline of south Tenerife.
Freebird One is built with a capacity to carry 196 passengers, with an upper and lower spacious deck, and impressive lounge to seat generously 70 passengers. The inside lounge is a comfort retreat if the Canarian sunshine all gets too much to bear, for a welcoming little shade break.
One of the main features of this catamaran is the fly bridge on the upper level. Giving our passengers the opportunity to enjoy superb views over the catamaran it is the best observation point for enjoying the whales, dolphins and sea life. You can also watch the captain at work.
With Freebird One size is definitely the key word with a mast that stands at 38 metres, making it the highest mast in Europe. Freebird One is 30 metres long and 14 metres wide.
Other characteristics that our luxury, grand catamaran features are a state of the art GPS global navigations system, 4 plasma TV’s in the lounge, and proper spacious toilets and modern washroom facilities.
All of the Freebird One crew are experienced, professional multilingual and dress in full sailor uniform.
We are the only catamaran here to at times sail with the full sail, of course this would be wind speed dependent. So, passengers can sometimes experience a sail with it’s full sail erected as well as with motors. Freebird One’s sail has 620 square metres of sail, making it the largest sail in Europe.
We offers 3 different variations of products. VIP 3hr sail, VIP 4 ½ Marca sail , and the VIP 3 Hr Family sail. All products include a full delicious buffet, and a selection of hot and cold drinks to choose from on board. A swim and snorkel stop in a secluded bay. Our official marine guide will give you excellent commentary by sharing their knowledge of the ocean and these marvellous creatures of the sea. Commentary is available in all languages.
